We now have mini profiles of most of the Pilgrims available. You can access them by clicking the link on the sidebar, or by clicking here.

These profiles will hopefully be useful for people "back home" during the pilgrimage, so they can see who is posting.

Some more miscellaneous updates:
There is now a countdown gadget on the sidebar, showing how many days, hours, minutes and seconds until our pilgrimage leaves.
Also, I have updated the itinerary with exact times for events. On the Blog, the times are shown in Australian Eastern Standard Time. You can Download the official WYD week itinerary from the link found under "Useful Links" in the Sidebar

Formation Days 2 - 9/10 July

The Vinnies WYD Group

This weekend the entire St Vincent de Paul QLD group gathered for 2 formation days. The topics on Saturday included Group bonding and cooperation exercises, Info on our patron saints and some logistics on what will be hapenning during the pilgrimage. In the afternoon, Moses, one of the group took a break from the sessions to celebrate a holiday with other Sudanese. During this time the rest of the group practiced their walking with a 'stroll' aroung the city, while looking for photo opportunities to demostrate Social Injustice. The day concluded with some games in the evening before a mass campout on the floor for the night.
